A detailed record of the history of the Carmelites from the near extinction of the Order in Europe to beginnings of the Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary. Two Carmelites From Straubing, Germany travelled to Louisville, Kentucky to serve the German community in that flourishing town. From there, they would move to wherever ministry needs beckoned and wherever there seemed opportunities for further establishing the Order. A fascinating read.
